Trouble begins for Molly when the husband of Stephanie Saunders, her very pregnant arch rival, informs her that he's submitted the one ribald cartoon Molly's ever created to a contest in a porn magazine, and that the cartoon won. Molly is furious with Preston Saunders, but her anger dissipates quickly when he is killed shortly thereafter, seemingly at the hands of a terrorist anti-porn group.
In a major juggling act, Molly attempts to solve the murder while tending to her long-suffering husband and school-age children, who provide some much-needed comic relief. In the process, she finds herself playing midwife to Stephanie, disguising herself as a student to go undercover in high school, and golfing as if her life depends on it - which it very well might.
