Churchill - Companion Volume III (2 books), Martin Gilbert, Heinemann, 1972 The letters and documents reproduced in this Companion Volume were all originally written between July 1914 and December 1916, the period coved in the author's work Winston S. Churchill Volume III. Companion Volume III Part I August 1914 - April 1915 In very good condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean except for a white mark to the bottom edge of the spine and white marks to the bottom edge of the back board and the lettering on the spine bright. There is shelf wear to the top and bottom edges of the spine. The end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There is a letter D stamped on the back board which is hidden by the rear return. The top edge fully retains its original red tint. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a clear removable cover is in good condition with toning to all the edges, loss to the bottom of the spine and two small tears to the top edge of the spine. Companion Volume III Part II May 1915 - December 1916 In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There is a small indentation half way down the edge of the back cover. The end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There is a letter D stamped to the rear end paper. The top edge fully retains its original red tint. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in very good condition with a small tear to the top edge to the sun damaged spine, a small loss to the bottom edge of the front cover and small tear to the top edge of the red cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and in a cardboard box. N° de ref. del artículo 03128
