PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT the ?Atlas of the Heavens?, which was a separate volume that was published as a companion to this book. This is the rare book ?Uranography?, the main textbook volume that accompanied the ?Atlas?. The exterior of the book shows general wear, the front board is slightly warped, and the cover page once attached to the front board is now mostly missing, only remnants remainn. However, this remains a sound, solid book that is complete and intact despite the general wear. The book is clean and stain-free, still square and straight, and still firm in its binding, no pages are loose or missing. All illustrations are present. All pages are clean and stain-free, slightly age-toned, but all text is crisp and legible. There is foxing (speckling) to the rear blank end-pages. We detected no writing, underlining, highlighting, or other such markings in the text of the book. There is a previous owner's bookplate on the blank front paste-down, and a previous owner's name on a front blank page and at the top of the title page.
