Map in two colours and fore titles printed in blue. The index details cheap week end bookings, circular tors, coaching tours, lays and legends of Galloway, sleeping berths on board the steamer and detailed sections of many Galloway towns and villages : Castle-Douglas, Creetown, Dalbeattie and District, Dalry, Garliestown, Gatehouse, Isle of Whithorn, Kirkcudbright, New Galloway, Newton Stewart, Port William, Stranraer,Whithorn and Wigtown. With Tourist Fares and etc. Distinctive illustrations of scenery, coaching, bridges, steamers possibly not bettered since! Adverts in the text The book is bound as issued in plum boards with original yellow unmarked endpapers - all in near fine unmarked condition with just a little edge and corner wear. Rare.
