IAN FLEMING - THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, published by Viking, copyright 1962, First Printing (6 lines on copyright page with no references to subsequent printings - there were 2 subsequent printings of this book that state as such on the copyright page), lists to "Thunderball" on list of Fleming books to left of title page, brown endpapers with peach cloth boards and brown lettering on spine, no references to subsequent printings on front flap. Book has just a couple of creased page corners, flat white pages with sharp outer page corners, no foxing to pages, endpapers or outer page edges, slight dust soiling/age darkening to outer page edges, endpapers are clean and free from any discoloration, small gift inscription on ffe otherwise no other former owner's markings or used bookseller stamps/stickers inside, no wear to board edges, corners or spine tips, tiny bumped board corners, no discoloration/soiling to boards, no age darkening to spine. Dust jacket has tiny closed tear at bottom on front flap crease & tiny nick losses along top edge around spine otherwise no chipping or tearing or creasing, slight wear to spine tips with 'v' losses to spine tip corners, barest hint of wear to front flap crease (primarily at flap crease corners), hint of wear to left/right on spine, very slight spine sun fading (common defect with this DJ), no color rubbing (very very common defect as there was no cover gloss applied by the publisher), very faint age foxing spots to white rear panel, slight dust soiling to white rear panel, hint of edge wear, no soiling or staining. Overall a FINE-/N-FINE book in VG condition dust jacket (price clipped) of an Ian Fleming U.S. 1st printing hardcover book.
