Laid in are two original A4 printouts: (1), a letter from Neta A. Bahcall, Chief,General Observer Support Branch, to colleagues, which introduces (2), 'Survey of Community Interests' - a highly technical questionnaire relating to the Space Telescope's planned launch in 1986. These documents are dated 1983. There is also a yellow Air Mail card addressed to Neta A. Bahcall at Homewood Campus, Baltimore, soliciting a " Quick Reply" rather than submitting the questionnaire.
