Doubleday Doran, Garden City, NY, 1929, First Edition Stated, 283 pages, color decorated endpapers (brown and green Art Deco style pattern), 5.5"x 8.25", hardcover, light brown cloth with dark brown titles, top page edges tinted green (now slightly faded), corners slightly bumped and rubbed, spine ends slightly bumped and worn with a very few tiny closed splits at ends, dust jacket is in 3 pieces (front flap, front panel & spine, rear panel & rear flap) with a closed split across spine, jacket shows considerable overall bumping and wear and chipping, dust jacket protected in new archival plastic cover, contents clean and tight, newspaper column about author's death laid in at front, book: very good, dust jacket: poor {The jacket, while certainly exhibiting its age, still shows nicely in its new archival cover.} (VG/P) 5258 [Sss0221EC]. Librarium (a Latin word meaning "bookcase") is a second-hand bookstore in upstate New York. We have been selling books since 1979. We have an open shop and browsers are always welcome. You may want to call before you come for hours and/or directions. We are 2-1/2 hours from both New York City and Boston, less than 5 minutes from the northernmost exit on the Taconic Parkway and exit B2 on the Berkshire Extension of the Mass Pike, not far from Albany NY and Pittsfield MA. We have a large general hardcover stock with some trade paperbound titles and paperbacks. We have a good selection of children's books but also have something in almost every subject, fiction and non-fiction. There is also a barn full of books, most of which are $2.00 and under, for browsing in the summertime only.
