Queens by Pickles, Hardcover, First English Edition (1984). Book in good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book has very minor bumping to the spine ends, with ageing internally and to the page edges. The dust jacket shows ageing both internally and externally, with minor losses to the extremities. (See pictures). A relatively rare book. The book concerns the metropolitan gay scene, and the many characters including The Northern Queen, The Opera Queen, The Screaming Queen, the YMCA Queen and The Rent Boy. Queens is the first book to have charted the labyrinths of the metropolitan gay scene. N° de ref. del artículo 000655
