With sections covering all aspects of the poster: origin and development, analysis of the modern poster, composition, designer's materials, poster production and display and posters as works of art. Many of the tip-ins reproduce posters from throughout Europe covering a wide variety of events, products and services, and their colors remain vibrant. Very mild age-toning around the edges of the covers, with only a touch of finger-soiling; spine lightly soiled and very lightly faded.
