Green cloth boards with gilt blocked titles and decoration to spine.195 x 135 mm approx. xvi + 430 pp. Frontis + 6 other plates and facsimiles as called for. Chapter head embellishments. Fair ( Book- heavy wear to cloth at hinges -head and tail of spine, later marbled paper end papers fitted- it is not known whether a new mull and back strip was applied at the same time - but binding is sound. Very significant browning to paper of book block including plates with offsetting from frontis to title page.No other notable defects).The book is offered and priced as a binding/ reading copy.
