*** BOOK in very good clean and unmarked condition. Pictorial boards with green buckram backstrap. Pictorial endpapers, Professionally restored:- stitching was loose so the pages and plates have been thermal bound. New backstrap. Front paste down is a bit bubbly. Unpaginated; most of the pages of text have light to medium foxing. Title page and 24 more colour plates, as required. Undated, with a gift inscription for Christmas 1913. The story of Merry, a British terrier, and Bright, a German dachshund. A very collectible children's book dating from a golden age of beautifully illustrated short-run editions. Size: 290x250mm.
