BAR NONE THE RAREST OF THE JAMES BOND UK PAN PB 1STs - THIS BOOK WHILE APPARENTLY PRINTED IN THE U.K. WAS NOT SOLD IN THE U.K. AND AS A RESULT IS ONLY FOUND FROM COUNTRIES LIKE CANADA, AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND (IN POINT OF FACT THE EARLIEST KNOWN UK PAPERBACK EDITION THAT WAS SOLD IN THE UK WAS THE 1965 4TH PRINTING WHICH HAS GREEN INK FOR THE BOOK TITLE ON FRONT COVER). Book has no vertical spine creasing, no spine lean, no wear to spine tips (barest hint of wear to bottom spine tip corners), no wear to left/right on spine, small cover crease to bottom right corner on cover is only defect, no edge wear, tight flat white pages with no creased page corners, pages starting to age yellow at page edges, no foxing to pages or endpapers or outer page edges, hint of age darkening to outer page edges (no dust soiling), no former owner's markings or used book store stamps inside, virtually no dust soiling/age yellowing to back rear cover & no color transfer, almost no spine sun yellowing (another common defect with this light colored book).
