Photomechanical prints published by Maurizio Nannucci and printed in an edition of 1000 copies by Biancoenero, Florence, in original folded card sleeve. Sporadic very light flaws to the sleeve. Excellent condition. The conceptual/performance artist Nannucci's work includes: photography, video, neon installations, sound installation, artist's books, and editions. Also involved with Concrete Poetry. Lives and works in Florence and South Baden, Germany. Nannucci had been a pioneering figure in Europe since the mid 1960s in furthering the artistic use of postcards, both as exhibition invitations and in mail art generally. In 1976 he founded the newspaper Mèla and this gathering of postcards by numerous major art figures relates to contributions to this publication, its last issue was in 1981. In his account in 2014 of his Hotel Carlton Palace postcard project in 1993, Hans Ulrich Obrist wrote: 'In the early Seventies Nannucci had done this very beautiful [postcard] box which I carried around with me everywhere I went.'
