Jonathan Cape: Ist Edition, 2nd State, published March 1964, hardcover, publisher's black cloth, Japanese characters in gilt on front board, author, title and publisher's device in silver on spine, the list of previous books facing the title page has three faint check marks at three titles, else in Very Good Plus condition. The dust jacket design by Richard Chopping is bright and clear; however, the jacket itself is in a protective mylar cover and, although not price clipped, has nicks top and bottom, else in Very Good condition.
