This is a series of short stories for children, accompanied on every page with a beautiful full color picture to go with the story. Politically incorrect currently, but historically correct language. In ¿Kittens will be Kittens,¿ the narrative reads Mrs. Tabby Cat had three children. One was black as a piece of coal and was called Nig; one was a striped kitten named Toodles, and the other was called Meddler. Authors not stated. Illustrator: ¿H.H.¿, "H. Harmony¿ & ¿J. Wall¿ ¿copyrighted by Ullman Manufacturing Co. (from mid-1800¿s to 1938¿lithographs¿artwork, post cards) Hardcover, sewn binding, has green pattern on white paper boards with full color illustrated front, but no DJ. Missing spine. Interior appears complete except for title page, fontis, front & rear end-papers. Pages are not numbered. Interior pages loose, pages have been handled, but are unmarked.
