First edition hard back binding in publisher's original colour illustrated paper covered boards, grey cloth spine. Quarto 10'' x 8¼''. Contains 78 printed pages of text with 3 colour plates and monochrome illustrations throughout. Fraying of the cloth to the spine ends, corners rubbed, rubs along the edges, child's doodle and writing to the recto of the frontispiece and in Good condition, no dust wrapper. Condición: Fair. 1938. 78 pages. No dust jacket. Red pictorial boards with a beige cloth spine. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed Spine ends are crushed, with noticeable splits and chips.
