Interior has bookplate of former owner, else is very clean and tight. CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: Historians of the fur trade all routinely praise the value of the Ferris narrative. Hafen calls it "most important"; Chittenden, "abounds in valuable data relating to fur trade and is sold authorithy on a number of points".
