Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani / Plates Volume: unpaginated, numerous b/w & colour photographs of the artist?s work, each with a caption on opposite page / Folio containing 34 charcoal drawings by the artist, gilt cloth fitted in gilt cloth box, title and artist?s name calligraphed in black on the two plates volumes. Adel Abdessemed (born 1971) is an Algerian-born French contemporary artist. He has worked in a variety of media, including animation, installation, performance, sculpture and video. Some of his work relates to the topic of violence in the world. This set was published in conjunction with his first solo-exhibition - L?age D?Or - in Doha.
