Ornamental title page + [4] pp 'Description of The Illuminated Calendar' + blank with very neat, contemporary, inscription 'In the Diary the Birth days of some of my friends and Relatives may be found. Samson Senhouse.'+ introductory plate for each month followed by 2 pp diary for each month + [2] pp publishers catalogue for illuminated books. Some of the days ( as indicated at the outset ) have entries in a contemporary hand. Foxing to prelims but plates and diary pages very clean with very crisp and clean hand colouring. One or two of the thick card pages are a trifle shaken, but remain fully attached. The spine is uniformly discoloured/tanned and the delicate boards are a little rubbed.
