8vo. with light brown embossed binding. Boards nice and tight but split on front end paper. 610 pages + large foldout map in front. Map complete but does have a 4 inch tape repair on right side. Binding tight except for the headband at the top of the spine where the glue has failed due to upright storage. The dustjacket has done its job but has seen better days; spine and top edges are discolored, warped and torn, and there is a sticker from a Gloucester bookstore on the rear flap.
