CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Very minor rubbing on edges, else VG+. Interior front hinge is cracked and weakened, inked name of previous owner (Hugh Tyson, Langford, Somerset, dated March 31st, 1896) on half-title; else clean and free of marks. CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: Scarce British edition of the second Boone & Crockett Acorn Series title. Includes 12 stories of hunting around the world by renowned big game hunters. It includes Theodore Roosevelt on hunting in cattle country. Henry T. Allen tells of wolf-hunting in Russia. George Gould on desert big-horn sheep hunt. W.A.
