Silver, decorative gilt on cover with gilt titled spine and maroon cloth cover. CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Very bright with minimal shelf soiling. Spine is bright and minor fading. Interior with bookplate of former owner, partially removed; else is clean and tight. CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: The work contains articles by Col. William Pickett, Daniel Barring, George Harrison Jr., Madison Grant, Roger D. Williams, Dr. Charles H. Townsend, and the editor. The Pickett narrative contains early hunting, 1876-1883, on the Upper Missouri and its tributaries in the Dakotas and Montana. Other articles on hunting in China, Africa, Alaska, Cuba, Guadalupe Island, and elsewhere. Very nice collectable copy of a scarce Boone and Crockett Club publication. REFERENCE: Riling #1757.
