Title page undated, but published in Oswestry in 1855 this is the First Edition of this history of the Shropshire town, bound in the original embossed patterned red cloth boards, titled and decorated in gilt, 8 inches tall approx., 295 pages, with illustrations, light edge rubbing wear, and a small worn spot on base of rear cover, the binding is in otherwise nice general condition, internally some light creasing wear to a few pages else contents in good condition.
