Later assigned to the Army of the Mississippi and Army of the Tennessee. They participated in the Battle of Island No. 10, Siege of Corinth, Battle of Iuka and the Second Battle of Corinth. The Brigade joined in the Atlanta Campaign and the Carolinas Campaign. The author was a major in the 27th O. V. REFERENCES: DORN OHIO# 90; NEVINS I pg 159 "A dependable brigade history, though too much was borrowed from the Official Records." RYAN 775: The author of this work was appointed Historian of his brigade at a reunion of the survivors held in Columbus, September 4, 1907. During the war he had kept a memorandum of events under his observation and jotted them down as they occurred. He has been assisted by the official records and by committees from the different regiments of the brigade. The result is a complete and reliable history of value to the reader and creditable to the writer. Fuller's Ohio Brigade was composed of the Twenty-Seventh, Thirty-Ninth, Forty-Third and Sixty-Third Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiments. It was one of the most effective organizations that went from Ohio. N° de ref. del artículo 0124050
