CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Fragile printed wrappers lightly chipped on edges, hand-inked title on spine. Interior is clean and tight. CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: Served in the Second Corps of the Army of the Potomac, the 1st Delaware, initially a 90-Day regiment and later designated a veteran unit, fought in all the major campaigns to Appomattox in 1865. The author, Wm. Seville was Captain of E Company. Fighting at Antietam, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, the Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Cold Harbor, the siege of Petersburg, Deep Bottom, Ream's Station, Hatcher's Run, and High Bridge.
