Loosely inserted folded facsimile of letter written by Conrad Ferdinand Meyer (see scans) Very good in dark blue cloth covered boards with gilt titles, gilt ruling and gilt motif to spine and gilt titles to front board. Black borders to front board. Blind decorative motif borders to back board. Decorative front and rear endpapers and pastedowns. All edges of text-block marbled but dulled and browned. Edges rubbed. Corners bumped and frayed. Head and tail of spine frayed and worn. Hinge of rear board has webbing exposed and pastedown split at hinge, starting to weaken, but not detached. For all our books, postage is charged at cost, allowing for packaging materials; any shipping rates indicated on ABE are an average only; for the UK, our standard rate is for first class, and the priority rate includes tracked (signed for) delivery; for International sales, our standard rate is for Airmail delivery, and the priority rate is for tracked (International signed for) delivery.
