Hardcover, undated but probably c. 1930. 200pp. Quarto [25.5 cm] Tan cloth over boards with dark brown ink stamped lettering and ornamental designs on the front cover. Very good. The extremities are darkened and mildly stained. . Offsetting to fep and some spotting to endpapers and edges, pages are lightly tanned to the margins. With 4 tipped in color plates. A collection which includes stories by Thomas Hardy, A. A. Milne, G. K. Chesterton, Hilaire Belloc, Hugh Lofting, J. M. Barrie, and Walter De La Mare. With illustrations by Harold Earnshaw, J. R. C.
