Descripción
364 pp., internally clean, tight & unmarked, top and fore-edge of text-block slightly dusty with a few brown flecks; illustrated (on back) covers with wraparounds with booklists - it is unclear if the jacket was originally separate from underlying blank cream board but it is now fixed to it in several places, top outer corner is damaged - a 5cm x 2 cm chip of the coloured surface jacket had come off and been crudely repaired with sellotape, have now tried to redo by glueing to underlying card but it is still somewhat unsightly, otherwise covers are clean but fairly extensive browingand further slight chipping. German gift inscrip.top half-title which is quite inoffensive. 7 essays by different authors on the relationship between political parties and democracy in: England (sic), U.S.A., France and Germany, and under Bolshevist, Fascist and Catholic regimes. Apparently very scarce and, on the face of it, of considerable historical interest, (although the authors are not known to me). The individual chapters were also issued seperately. No copies of this complete collected set listed by major web-search sites at time of listing.
