Lorber, an Associate of the ANS since1994, resides in Woodland Hills, CA. Ms. Lorber worked for many years as a professional numismatist, principally with NFA in California and is now active mainly as a consultant and an independent researcher. Her publication credits include, in addition to numerous auction catalogues Treasures of Ancient Coinage from the Private Collections of ANS Members (1996). With Arthur A. Houghton, she is completing a comprehensive catalogue of Seleucid coin varieties intended to stand as the principal reference on the subject for scholars and collectors. She is also working on an English language, updated edition of J. Svoronos,The Coins of the Ptolemies, a book long out of print and difficult for collectors to use in its Greek language edition.
