A Masculine Ending by Joan Smith, Hardcover, First English Edition (1987) SIGNED, with Memorabilia. Book in very good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book has minor bumping to the spine ends, a staple imprint to the inside front cover, and page ageing. (See pictures). The book is inscribed by the author to the title page: '15 iv 87 For Rosemary, with many thanks for sensitive editing, with love from Joan'. 'Rosemary' refers to Rosemary Goad, the first female Director of the publishing company, Faber & Faber. Included separately is memorabilia including postcards addressed to Rose from Joan, and copies of newspaper reviews from the time. Also included is the jacket proof for another of Joan Smith's books, 'Misogynies', with a memo from Faber & Faber. N° de ref. del artículo 000673
