To Say That I Am Pleased And Enthusiastic Does Not Express My Feelingsat All. The Thing Is Wonderfully Done, So Satisfying That I Am Planning To Discard My Old Book-Plate (A Copy Of Which I Enclose), And Shall Have My Bookplate Made From Your Drawing. When I Do This, Would You Like To Have A Few Prints From Same? I Am Also Enclosing A List Of My Books Published To Date, And Should Be Glad If You Will Mark Several That You Would Like To Have Me Send You. I Am Not Presuming To Select For You, As You May Have Favorites, Or Have Read Some Which You Would Not Care For As Much As Others. With A Thousand Thanks For Your Kindness In Sending Me This Precious "Labor Of Love," And For Your Good Words About My Work. Very Sincerely Yours, Jack London"; This Letter Sold At Skinner, Oct. 30, 2005.
