Godforsaken by Mark Sanford-Wood, Hardcover, First UK Edition (2014), SIGNED. Book in very good condition, with a few marks to the panels. Overall a very nice, tight copy. (See pictures). The book is signed by the author: 'To Rosemary Thank you so much for all your support Fond Regards, Mark Sanford-Wood'. 'Rosemary' refers to Rosemary Goad, the first female Director of the publishing company, Faber & Faber. Although this is a book of fiction, the author has drawn on his early specialist training which brought him into contact with Holocaust survivors in London's East End, where he developed a keen interest in the psychology of survival.
