viii, [2], 274pp, with the armorial frontis-piece with tissue-guard intact, and folding linen-backed Genealogical Table, bound in 3/4 maroon leather and red cloth, raised bands on spine, marbled endpapers, top edges gilt, binding and hinges tight. Small ownership label of A.B.W. MacEwen, the author and genealogist. INSCRIBED & SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on the half-title page, with that persons signature on the title page, appears to be "G.H.F.Stuart, 1898". The linen-backed, folding Genealogical Table shows light foxing and a few closed tears, the book shows occasional light foxing, covers show occasional edge nick, with small stain.
