Descripción

538p., likely first edition [OCLC shows a 1914 edition which likely is a mistake, copyright date is 1915 but all found show a 1916 publication date], minor scruffing, previous owner's stamp on title page and half-title page (stamp of Harry Owen Saxon, who published occult mail order courses). Spirtualist and utopian work not listed in Negley, Sargent or Hanna. Novel about a new religious movement whose doctrine is based on science, published by the most important left-wing publishing house of the period. Partly set in Utah where the leader of the movement and his followers "labor for the redemption of Mormondom from soul slavery."
