A NEW CHAPTER FOR ABEBOOKS.COM WITH RETHINK NAMED AS ITS FIRST AD AGENCY
(Victoria, BC – 13 February 2006) Abebooks.com, the world's largest online marketplace for new, used, rare and out-of-print books, has appointed Rethink as its first ever advertising agency.
Based in Vancouver, Rethink is one of Canada's leading agencies, and has received numerous awards for outstanding creative campaigns that spring from a famously untraditional approach. Rethink has been charged with creating a fresh campaign to raise consumer awareness about Abebooks.com and its unique inventory of more than 80 million new, used, rare and out-of-print books.
Founded in 1996, Abebooks.com will celebrate its 10th anniversary in June. More than 13,500 independent booksellers currently list books on the company's global network of five sites, which attracts millions of book-loving visitors each month. All marketing campaigns have previously been developed in-house.
