Some discoloration on pasted own below ex-library sticker. The frontispiece has a tear at the top edge. The front hinge is starting, and the webbing of the back strip is visible between the frontispiece page and title page. The top of the text block is in gilt. Black and white photos. Corners are largely sharp, but have light discoloration at the tips. Index at the rear. This would be a good reading or research copy. Black and white photos are by J.B. Shackelford.
