Originally published in 1956 in a blue-tweed cloth version with DJ (see our listing #019790), this is a later Picture Cover edition from the early 1960s, with pictorial boards & gold spine. Slightly later printing, listing to TS#20 in front matter & TS#22 on back cover. In 214 pages with a plain frontispiece & blue/white endpapers by illustrator Graham Kaye. Condition is just barely Good: generally very clean, with mild tanning to page edges, binding strong, but starting to split at lower title page, hinges intact. Pages creamy white with very mild tanning/dust dulling to outside edges. Former owner's name & stickers inside front cover & to ffep; NO other writing/underlining/highlighting. Extremities rubbed, heavily at corners, with slight tearing to paper at both ends of spine.
