About the book >.>.> The first extensive descriptive catalogue of the Rembrandt prints and drawings in the collection of the Rembrandt House, written by J.P. Filedt Kok, appeared in 1972. Because that book has now been out of print for several years it was decided to publish a new complete catalogue. The present volume contains slightly less detailed descriptions, but it does present illustrations of all the works in the collection. The authors are indebted to Dr Filedt Kok for his permission to draw freely on his texts in the first catalogue. They have made grateful and sometimes word-for-word use of them. The Society of Friends of the Rembrandt House Museum has been closely and enthusiastically involved with the project at all stages and is bearing some of the cost: the museum is much indebted to them. We should like to thank Mr Hidde Hoekstra for his critical reading of all texts and Ms Charlotte ten Holder for the perfectionism with which she has made the text ready for the printer. Hier en daar wat vuil en een ezelsoortje Dutch Reinaert was een veertiendaags satirisch tijdschrift onder leiding van Firmin Parasie, dat in de jaren dertig in Gent verscheen. De jaargang 1933 sluit aan bij de uitgesproken polemische koers van het blad, dat met bijtende humor en scherpe ironie de politieke actualiteit en de interne verdeeldheid binnen de Vlaamse beweging becommentarieerde. Vanuit een radicaal Vlaams-nationalistisch en anti-Belgisch perspectief viseerde het tijdschrift zowel Belgisch-loyale Vlaamsgezinden als leiders en stromingen binnen het radicale kamp, waarbij geen enkele ideologische strekking werd ontzien. De bijdragen, grotendeels door Parasie zelf geschreven, werden regelmatig ondersteund door satirische illustraties van Frits van den Berghe, die de kritische en ontluisterende toon van het blad visueel versterkten.
