The English translation and publication of this large hard cover book (9 ½ x 11 ¼ inches 224 pages) was published by Harry N. Abrams of New York dated 1996 (presumably the First English edition). The book is bound in dark blue cloth with silver gilt titles on the spine and protected by a colorful pictorial dust jacket. Among the artists included in this book one can find: Cezanne-Daumier-Goya-Van Gogh-Ingres and others.
