The original owner (Chris) noted that they were given to him as a birthday present when he was 10 years old in November 2003 by a late family friend names Pauline who also knew J.K. Rowling. A fine set that has been well looked after over the years. The Philosopher's Stone 34th printing copy has some slight bumping to the spine base of the book and a slight bump to the bottom left corner on the rear board. Aside from this the book is in perfect condition, the binding is square and tight, it is completely unread with bright white pages, no foxing, no toning as is often found, no marks or ownership inscriptions of any kind, perfect internally.
