Uniformly bound in dark red cloth; light sunning/color fading to spines with slight fraying and wear at ends, light rubbing to boards, gilt stamping to front boards and spines still fairly bright but not vibrant. Gilt top edge; toning to deckle fore-edges. Some foxing and or toning to endpapers; foxing strongest on several initial and terminal leaves of both volumes but with scattered mostly light occurrences to interior leaves. Bindings are firm. Still an attractive very good- set.
