Vintage Albuminabzug.- Der Komponist Franz von Suppè (* 18. April 1819 in Spalato, Dalmatien; ? 21. Mai 1895 in Wien) gilt als Schöpfer der Wiener Operette. hinterließ ein ?uvre mit über 200 Bühnenwerken, darunter drei aufgeführte Opern und 26 aufgeführte Operetten.- Fritz Luckhardt (* 17. März 1843 in Kassel; ? 29. November 1894 in Wien) hat in Paris das Fotografie-Handwerk von René Dagron (183-1900) erlernt. 1865 ließ er sich in Wien nieder, wo er 1867 ein eigenes Studio eröffnete. Er spezialisierte sich auf die Porträtphotographie der Prominenz, insbesondere von Künstlern.- # CDV vintage albumen carte de visite by Fritz Luckhardt.- Franz von Suppè (1819-1895) was a famous Austrian composer. He was a contemporary of Strauss, who closely modeled his operettas after Offenbach. Matted beneath a 3¾"x5½" quarter-length portrait vignette with facsimile signature. Overall framing is 7 3/4" x 11 3/4." An attractive and rare example of a selection from a composition of Franz von Suppe (1819-1895). He was a conductor and composer during the Romantic period who wrote four dozen light operettas. He is familiar to many today because his cheerful music has been widely used in Walt Disney films such as Bugs Bunny as well as others by Walter Lanz. Size: Folio. [30] ff. Quarter cloth with blue marbled boards. Copyist's manuscript of the full score, in brown ink, on twenty-stave paper. Ownership initial stamp "LK". The libretto was by Anton Langer (1824-1879); the libretto published in 1864 the probable year of performance. WorldCat references only publication of the libretto of the work. ÖNB holds a manuscript score and various orchestral parts.
