The developed algorithm, which is a modified form of the standard differentiate-divide FM demodulator was modelled in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. Its silicon area requirement on an FPGA chip was investigated using Quartus software. Results show that the developed algorithm has a higher time/silicon area ratio compared to the standard differentiate-divide demodulator. 104 pp. Englisch.
