Der erste Teil betrifft die Prognose umgebungsbedingter Schädigungen zementgebundener Werkstoffe und deren Wechselwirkungen mit lastinduzierten Beanspruchungen im Rahmen des Entwurfs von Stahlbetontragwerken. Dafür wurden in den letzten Jahren (deterministische) Mehrfeldmodelle entwickelt, um gekoppelte hygro-mechanische und chemo-mechanische Schädigungsprozesse auf Strukturebene abbilden zu können und daraus Prognosen für die zu erwartende (Rest-) Lebensdauer von Tragwerken zu ermitteln. Der stochastische Charakter der untersuchten Phänomene und die Verbindung der entwickelten Modelle mit Methoden der Zuverlässigkeitsanalyse wird im gegenständlichen Beitrag allerdings nicht thematisiert. Im zweiten Teil geht es um die Entwicklung eines Simulationsmodells für maschinell vorgetriebene Tunnel als Grundlage für die Dimensionierung von Ausbaumaßnahmen und für wirklichkeitsnahe Prognosen vortriebsbedingter Setzungen und damit zusammenhängender Schädigungsrisiken.
