Two 1929 issues of Wings, the monthly newsletter of the Literary Guild, with striking cover illustrations by Rockwell Kent. Kent's Flame was used for the cover of the July issue, his Meditation, a more sentimental subject, was used for the cover of the September issue. Both issues in about fine condition. The focus of the July issue was Evelyn Scott's Civil War epic The Wave, and includes am article by her, Adventures and Incidents in the Writing of "The Wave." The September issue has a followup, What The Critics Said about "The Wave." Our current list includes typographical ephemera relating to Rockwell Kent and his contemporaries.
