Hardcover. Condición: Good. Indian Crafts and Lore includes spellings and pronunciations of 198 tribal names.Author Ben Hunt is noted as having, as a child, befriended the Sioux who were performing with the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show. This began his fascination with native crafts. The books explains and illustrates how to duplicate such articles as feather care for making headdresses, ceremonial shirts, and drums. Much, if not all, is beyond the capacity of those without special equipment and training. But there is much to learn and infer about the relationship of non-natives with Native Americans (herein referred to as Indians). On the other hand, the Golden Book of the Renaissance includes illustrations, photos and text providing a comprehensive introduction to the European reawakening of the fifteenth century. It includes little known drawings from Leonardo DaVinci's codex. The cover illustration alone can provide hours of contemplation and is its own overview of the period. In very good+ condition. Both books are ExLibris.
