Condición: Good. 1942. 1st Published. 91 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over grey cloth. Contains black and white illustrations. Moderate tanning, with light foxing and marking to pages. Some rub-marking and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers with inscriptions to front. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Boards are slightly bowed. Unclipped jacket with heavy edge wear, large tears and chipping, causing loss around edges and spine. Heavy tanning and creasing, with rubbing and marking.

Dustjacket lightly tanned, lightly foxed, lightly soiled and badly designed. The title of the book on the spine of the dustjacket is set in capital letters and spread over four lines and so reads THE/CROOK/ED/WALL (THE CROOK ED WALL and the title on front panel of the dustjacket is associated with a woman riding a horse yet she could be cantering towards a crooked wall, or towards the crook, Ed Wall, I suppose. A good copy in a good dustjacket.
