The Tragedy of Faustus by Christopher Marlowe would eventually become a massive galactic German novel simply called "Faust" in the 1800s. This is not that novel. This is a 70's reprint of the famous play. Marlowe was a contemporary with Shakespeare, and so this is a very antiquated piece of reading, but it's important to understand the machinations of the elite. Regardless of that angle, this particular copy is in excellent condition, there is only mild creasing on the bottom right of the cover. Someone named Jenkins wrote their name in blue pen on the preface page. There is some slight crease on the very top corner of the outside rear side of the cover. Otherwise the book is in perfect condition beyond expected wear for its era. See pictures for details. Roughly 200 pages. This is a "play", and page numbers have an interesting convention. Printed page numbers only go to about sixty, but there are many more here. Certainly a find for any passionate theatrical professional.
