Covers text and information about a a bronze sculpture by Ossip Zadkinere, a statue named "Harlequin", decorating the façade of an affiliates fahionstory at Haarlem Municipality, "Grote Houtstraat". Correspondence includes 2pp. of inforative data about Ossip Zadkine; 4pp. general information about the artst and 4pp. announcement Haarlem municipality will get is bronze statue by Ossip Zadkine. Origina limp paper portfolio. dutch language information by authentic correspndence in original typostript on original business stationary about the commission of a bronze statue to be designed and produce by the famous sculptor and artist Ossip Zadkine, from White-russian ancestry. Information has been collected and published in various letters leading to acceptance by the sponsoring company "Nederland Kattenburg Ltds." on behalf of the affiliated afshion store at Haarlem Municipality, situated at Grote Houtrstraat. The bronze sculpture was named "Harlekijn", or "Harlequin". A very interesting piece of information in original typo script. Very well preserved. Scarce.

1 lettre autographe signée 1 In-4 29/03/1964 marge supérieure mal coupée Zadkine rentre de sa maison de campagne et vient de téléphoner à son transporteur qui n'a reçu aucun ordre d'enlèvement. «Donc, si vous voulez compter sur ma participation, il faut qu'on vient [sic] prendre mes sculptures et dessins en m'avisant le matin du jour de l'enlèvement, car je travaille en ce moment dans un autre atelier. Je suis désolé de vous dire que je ne pourrai pas venir visiter votre colloque et ouverture de l'expo. Je suis en train de faire une grande sculpture qui demande et demandera mon attention jusqu'à juin [.]». Sculpteur.
