Olive green paper portfolio with titling in black on a red title label on the front. Contains one 37 x 27 cm bifolium with essays, into which are laid two broadsides featuring the poems 'A Summer Commentary' by Yvor Winters and 'River' by Janet Lewis. Lastly are two prints of Winters and Lewis on a sheet of 25 x 26.5 cm Somerset Satin 300 paper. Of a total of 260 copies of the portfolio printed, copies numbered one through eighty-five contain the printed portraits, this copy being portfolio number 45. There is one large bump to the bottom corner of the portfolio resulting in two diagonal creases. The contents are in fine condition with no discernable flaws. First edition. Four broadsides housed in a paper portfolio with a printed cover label. All elements fine. Printed at the Yolla Bolly Press. Presents Winters' poem "A Summer Commentary" and Lewis' poem "River," as 14 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch broadsides, both printed in two colors. Essays by Kenneth Fields, Dick Davis, and Turner Cassity on a single folded sheet (14 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches, closed), and an 8 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch sheet upon which are printed photographs of Winters and Lewis from 1917 and 1919, respectively. One of 175 (of 260) numbered copies.

This broadside portfolio, publilshed by Stanford University Libraries and the Stanford Humanities Center in conjuntion with the Yvor Winters Centenary Symposium, November 16-18, 2000-Colophone. 260 copies were printed. This copy is very clean and complete.
